Everything we grow is carefully cultivated in a controlled environment with a whole lot of attention to detail. Our goal is simple: deliver mushrooms at peak flavor, texture, and nutritional value.

Walt Porter, Co-Owner and General Manager
I’m a fourth-generation farmer, born and raised with dirt under my nails and a deep respect for the land. Farming is in my blood — but I’ve always had a curiosity for new ideas, especially when they connect good food, sustainability, and community. A few years back, while walking the rows at the Greeley Farm Show, I came across a booth on mushroom cultivation. That moment planted a seed I couldn’t ignore.
I’ve always believed that farming should nourish more than just the body — it should reflect a way of life that’s honest, thoughtful, and rooted in the natural world. As someone who spends their off-hours skiing, mountain biking, and cooking with fresh ingredients, growing gourmet mushrooms felt like the perfect blend of tradition and innovation. This farm is a new chapter for me — a way to bring something special to the community I’ve always called home.

Bethany Porter, Co-Owner
Bethany co-founded the farm with a passion for food and community, seeing mushrooms as a way to bring something unique and meaningful to the local table. She plays an active role in the day-to-day operations, from harvesting and deliveries to managing the farm’s social media presence. Her work ensures that the farm runs smoothly while also staying connected with the people who enjoy its harvest.
One of Bethany’s favorite parts of the business is the quiet rhythm of harvesting — watching mushrooms grow from small pins into beautiful, fully developed clusters. That sense of care and attention carries through to every aspect of her work, helping the farm deliver both quality and consistency. Her dedication to detail and connection makes her an integral part of the farm’s growth and success.
